Searching for signals from the Dark Universe: latest DAMA results.

Abstract

Large part of the Dark Matter, which seems to dominate the Universe, is expected to be in form of

relic particles. This allows one to consider the Dark Universe as a unique mean of investigation

which could open a new window beyond the Standard Model. The DAMA experiment at the Gran

Sasso National Laboratory of I.N.F.N. is investigating this new frontier. Results achieved in four

years of running time with the highly radiopure ~100 kg NaI(Tl) will be presented and the possible

implications discussed.
