BTeV is a recently approved experimental program at Fermilab whose purpose is to do a complete study of mixing, CP violation and rare decays of b and c quarks. I will discuss the advantages of using a hadron collider, the detector design and the physics reach. Comparisions will be made with current and future experiments.
