Kopeliovich MPI - Heidelberg, Germany     Propagation and hadronization of partons in a medium    Abstract    Inclusive production of hadrons in deep-inelastic scattering on nuclei provide unique information about the early stage of hadronization. A brief overview of contemporary models, comparison with available data from the HERMES experiment, and outlook for future measurements are presented. The results are important for correct interpretation of data for high-pT particle production in heavy ion collisions at RHIC.
