A wide review of the experimental finding and theoretical models of HTS is presented in the lecture. PRO and CONTRA of different theoretical approaches and their position with respect to classical theory of superconductivity are discussed. Special attention is devote to the discussion of the pseudogap phenomena, fall down of the Fermi liquid approach, order parameter symmetry in underdoped phases of HTS materials.
